Biobasics:
heyy. my name is rachel. i'm eighteen years old. i live in jacksonville, florida. it's a big city but not that much to do. but a plus about it here is the beach at nighttime. if you drive a little ways you can drive to where there aren't as many city lights and look up and see a bagillion stars. its really nice. i like to go to fuel which is a cool little coffeehouse down in five points which is one of the stranger areas here, but it's cool because there is so many different types of people. i like to go to starbucks and i recently got into snorkling in springs. it's freezing cold but really fun. i like going to panera and eating soup in bread bowls with my bff heather. i dont have very many friends but the ones i have i love. school and work life:
this is my 3rd semester in college. the first semester was alright and my last one, we can just say it didn't really count at all. so hopefully i will do alot better and get better grades, haha. i go to FCCJ (florida community college of jacksonville) South Campus. My classes this semester are 1) principles of biology 2) introduction to piano 3) beginning spanish 1 4) english comp 2. i did work at target for a while and was out of a job for almost a month or something. now i am employed at books a million.
other stuff:
i am going to be moving in with my boyfriend and our friend Virgil in the next month or so. this will be the first time i'm out on my own and fending for myself and paying bills. it's alot to worry about but i think i can handle it. atleast i want to try. i want to be semi-independent you know. i've got a few tattoos and piercings. i've got a green and black nautical star on my wrist and a lightning bolt and stars on the back of my neck. i have my nose pierced and my lip pierced. i like to dye my hair, all kinds of colors. right now it is black. before it was brown and blonde all underneath. i like personal changes. i like to wear some jeans and a tank top or collard shirt, nothing fancy. i like lots of jewelry though...big and bright. i'm a pretty fun and down to earth girl if you try to get to know me. alot of people don't really give me the time. i like to sing and play guitar and go to shows, although i haven't been to many lately. i like polka dots, and bright colors. i like skinny girls because im the opposite of that and i like skinny boys. skinny is pretty.
